Very fun and delicious spot. The food was amazing and the complimentary chips are great. The strawberry horchata was very tasty, as well as the birria quesadilla. They offer good vegan/vegetarian options as well. Definitely recommend checking it out and tasting some incredible food.
After looking at the online menu I was a bit skeptical about this place but it was actually very good. I had the two taco plate with carne asada and shrimp and my brother had the chili verde burrito combo. Everything was well seasoned and full of flavor. They brought three small containers of salsa with our chips. A green, a red and a very creamy queso. The green was my favorite and the red was my least favorite because it was too smoky and too hot for me. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean and the service was good.
Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Don't skip on: Fajitas and the flour tortilla chips! Tried out Muertos Cantina for the first time and it was great! I love that the moment you walk in, you’re transported into another place. The decor was very thought out and it whoever designed it did an amazing job. We ordered a few different dishes and everything came out pretty quickly. The ramen noodles were a little overcooked, but the consommé had great flavor. The fajitas were done well and I really loved the salsas and chips. The staff were very welcoming and nice. The restaurant was well kept and it was overall a very enjoyable experience!
Very good service. Excellent food. Great tequila. Was looking for something on our first day in town. This is definitely a spot to visit. We enjoyed every aspect of this place. The green chili smothered burrito was excellent. We will be back again
This spot had a fun vibe and great drinks. We tried a fancy tequila- Clase Azul which was expensive but really smooth. I am not a connoisseur so it was wasted on me, but the Dynamite Donkey was complex and delightful. The old fashioned was really cool with the palo santo smoke which gave an earthy taste to the sweetness. I didn’t even remember to take pics before I sucked half of them down. We did apps because it was a 4:30 stop over after a stressful Santa pic appointment. That was the right choice because the chips and dips were amazing! Deep frying the flour chips is a revelation. Loved the salsas (homemade I think), the guacamole with pickled onions (yessssss) and the queso. We ended up trying a birria taco before we left as a treat and it was decadent. I’m a sucker for a dip and this was *chefs kiss*. Such a flavor bomb. I got the Caesar salad and some fajitas to go. Will report back on the taste, but they look bomb!
This place was great! Host was very sweet. Our server was super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The Birria Ramen was amazing, packed with flavor and comfort in every bite. The tacos were just as impressive. The moody lighting mixed with neon accents gave the whole place a fun, edgy feel. Between the great customer service and delicious food, this place definitely deserves all five stars. Highly recommend!
This spot caught me off guard, and honestly I was pleasantly surprised! I had the Birria Taco Plate, and my partner the Fajita combo. The chips and salsa were really good, and they bring you 3 different sauces to try. A Chile Arbol, a Salsa Verde and a Chipotle Crema. All of them were great and the arbol actually had some kick too which seems rare around here. They also have a spicy Serrano crema, which was very authentic and so good. The chips, oh the chips!! A mix of perfectly thin corn tortilla chips and flour puff tortilla chips, so good. I had a spicy Marg also which was done well, especially for Utah. The Birria was top notch, the consume was great, and they have house style pinto beans which are more authentic. These could have used a touch more flavor, but still really good. The fajitas were also really good, especially the shrimp. Servings were solid for the price. Also, our server, Juan was great! I would consider this a slightly "elevated" mexican spot, and I would absolutely recommend trying it!
Fresh, flavorful, generous portions, excellent service! Best Mexican food I've had at a restaurant in Utah! The carne asada melted in my mouth! Absolutely don't want to miss this - my niece said it was "life-altering!"
